Day 22 - Spring is already here???

These rose sculptures are planted on park ave and will be there till May. This is on 61st street and there are more planted between 57th and 67th street on park ave. Will post more of these in coming weeks.

Day 15 - Sardines for dinner!

I was at home most of the day and when I finally got out, it was cloudy and the sun was about to set. I did not click a picture and I found a picture in my archives to post for the day.

Later on, when I thawed these sardines for prepare dinner, I could not stop my self from taking a few pictures. I wish I had taken a picture in natural light and unfortunately, it was too late for that.  But this picture is not that bad either. I think I finally found a spot & an angle in my kitchen, where I could click decent enough pictures in my kitchen light. What do you think?

Day 14 - Ready to seed pomegranate!

Before posting this picture, just out of curiosity, I googled to see how a pomegranate is peeled and seeded.  Couple of videos asked us to cut the fruit into two and seed it immersing each piece in a bowl of water.  That kind of made sense.  But the most interesting and bizarrie video is this, where this gentleman uses a hammer, something similar to a meat mallet, to seed the fruit!  Never seen anyone seed a pomegranate that way!
